Celebrate all things Fall & Halloween with 31FSS at our annual Fall Fest! This event packs everything you love about the season into one, amazing long weekend! Whether you just want to savor the cooler weather and delicious food, dress up in your favorite costumes, or celebrate all things spooky, we’ve got what you’re looking for! Base Access & Traffic Control
Fall Fest is open to all military personnel & civilian employees of Aviano Air Base, and their dependents. As an exception for the event date (Saturday, Oct. 26th), any area & time access restrictions for local national employees will not apply. Please review below for more access details:
Local National Employees:
Only family members listed on the back of your base passes are permitted to attend the event with you. All passes will be extended through Saturday.
Minor Entry:
Children of local nationals can join the event by presenting a “Declaration of Liability for Minors” form at the gate. Incomplete or incorrect declarations may result in denial of entry. The form is available through your supervisor, or from the Community Center (Area 1, Bldg 110, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm)
Active Duty & DoD Civilians:
Please note the Community Center & 31FSS will not be completing an IAR form for guests
Contractors:
Access to this event is not permitted for American or Italian Contractors

Fall Fest Main Event
Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun at this year’s Fall Fest & Trunk or Treat! Two great events are happening on the same day and at the same time, so it’s a win-win for everyone. Join us at Freedom Park on October 26, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, for a day filled with delicious food, exciting games, a costume contest, a petting zoo, rides, live entertainment, and much more!
Trunk or Treat
Get ready for a spooktacular time at AYP’s annual Trunk or Treat event! Register your trunk using the signup link and show off your creative flair.
Join us on October 26, 2024, at Freedom Park on Area F. Set up your trunk between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM, then let the Trunk or Treating fun begin from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM!
Bring 5 bags of candy and deck out your trunk to impress—the top three trunks will win exciting prizes! Don’t miss the chance for some Halloween fun and friendly competition!

Fall Fest Costume Contest
Join us for the Costume Contest at Fall Fest on October 26, 2024, at Freedom Park!
Registration runs from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with judging starting at 2:25 PMnear the stage.
Show off your creative costumes for a chance to win prizes in categories such as Family, Adult, Adult Couple, and Children (ages 0-5, 6-11, and 12-17).
Zombie Run
Join us for the Zombie Run on October 24th at 6:00 PM at Dragon FC! This Halloween-themed run is perfect for all ages and abilities, with a distance of around 5K or less. Dress up in your best costume – we’ll be awarding prizes for the best-dressed humans and dogs! The event is free, and everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Mischief & Magic Party
Get ready for a wickedly fun night at the LBV on October 25th, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with our Magic & Mischief Halloween Party!
Dust off those cobwebs, slip into your most bewitching costume, and come prepared for an evening of thrills and chills. Sink your fangs into deliciously spooky food, sip on eerie drink specials, and dive into a spine-tingling scavenger hunt that’s sure to keep you on your toes. With classic Halloween movies playing on six big screens, it’s going to be a fang-tastic time you won’t want to miss!
Halloween Costume Swap is Here
Bring your new or gently used costumes to the Community Center for our Halloween Costume Swap! You can trade your costume for another one or simply donate it to share the spooky spirit!
Drop-offs are open Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM from Oct. 1st – 30th (closed on Columbus Day weekend and during Fall Fest support) at Area 1, Bldg 110 (right next to the Fire Station).
