The Civilian Personnel Flight (CPF) provides advisory services to commanders/senior leadership, managers, supervisors, and U.S. and Foreign National (FN) employees on civilian personnel management, resources, adverse and disciplinary actions, and disseminates changes in policy. Civilian Personnel handles all recruitment and advisory services for FN employees, Appropriated and Non-Appropriated Funds employees assigned to the 31FW, DeCA, DLA and DoDDS. CPF conducts HR services for Appropriated Fund (APF) and Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) employees. This 19-person office consists of 8 U.S. and 11 Local Nationals. CPF administers the execution of the Civilian Human Capital Plan program with the responsibility of managing a diversified workforce which is comprised of U.S. APF/NAF and FN personnel.
HR Services are provided to the 31st Fighter Wing organizations, Tenants Unit, and mission partners located in Italy and Hungary, comprising Aviano Total Force of 5,000 personnel, with the breakdown of military, U.S. APF/NAF civilians, and Foreign National employees.
