Ready for a Spooky Good Time?

Celebrate all things Fall & Halloween with 31FSS at our annual Fall Fest! This event packs everything you love about the season into one, amazing long weekend! Whether you just want to savor the cooler weather and delicious food, dress up in your favorite costumes, or celebrate all things spooky, we’ve got what you’re looking for! Base Access & Traffic Control

EVENT ACCESS RULES (for Italian personnel):

All Italian military and civilian employees of Aviano AB holding a valid pass (DBIDS) are invited. For this
special occasion on – Friday, October 31, 2025 – the limitations regarding the access areas and time
restrictions indicated in the passes will not be applied.
Here are a few things to know:

FAMILY MEMBERS: Only family members indicated on the back of the DBIDS pass of Italian
workers are admitted to the event.
MINORS: minors are allowed to enter (even if they are not children of the pass holder), just show
the “Declaration of Responsibility for Minors” at the gate. Incorrect or unfilled declarations may
result in rejection at the entry gate. The form is available from your supervisors or at the
Community Center, Area 1, MON-FRI 08:00-16:00.
ITALIAN CONTRACTORS: access to the event is not allowed to Italian contractors.

EVENT ACCESS RULES (for U.S. personnel):
All U.S. military members and civilian employees (sponsors and dependents) at Aviano AB with a valid
base pass have access to the event.

Guests under 18 yrs: It is possible to escort a child who is NOT your dependent to the event
(examples: your under 18 Italian neighbor or your child’s Italian soccer teammate). Just
remember to bring the “Declaration of liability for minors” to the gate. Incomplete or
incorrect forms may result in denial of entry. The form is available from your supervisor or
at the Community Center, Area 1, MON-FRI, 0800-1600.

Fall Fest Main Event

Something spooky is coming to Freedom Park!
Fall Fest + Trunk or Treat is back on October 31st, 4–9 PM with costumes, candy, games, food, music, and more. The Haunted House runs from 7–10 PM if you dare.

LN DBID passes are extended to Area F and event hours. Family listed on the pass and children under 18 (with form) may attend.

Costume contests, booths, entertainment, and plenty of treats—this is the place to be on Halloween night.

Trunk or Treat

Get ready for a spooktacular time at AYP’s annual Trunk or Treat event! Register your trunk using the signup link and show off your creative flair.

Join us on October 31, 2025, at Freedom Park on Area F. Set up your trunk between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM, then let the Trunk or Treating fun begin from 4 PM to 6 PM!

Bring 5 bags of candy and deck out your trunk to impress—the top three trunks will win exciting prizes! Don’t miss the chance for some Halloween fun and friendly competition!

Fall Fest Costume Contest

Join us for the Costume Contest at Fall Fest on October 31, 2025, at Freedom Park!

Registration runs from 4 PM to 6 PM, with judging starting at 6 PM near the stage.

Show off your creative costumes for a chance to win prizes in categories such as Family, Adult, Adult Couple, and Children (ages 0-5, 6-11, and 12-17).

Trick or Trot

Who says Halloween fun is just for the candy?
The Trick or Trot is back at the Fitness Center Thursday, October 23rd at 5:45 pm! Run, laugh, and show off those spook-tacular costumes in a Halloween run & costume contest made for all ages. 
Costumes, cardio, and a little friendly competition—this isn’t your average evening run.

Ghostly Gathering

Something spooky is brewing at the LBV…
A Ghostly Gathering is set for Friday, October 24th from 5 pm–12 am, and it’s bringing all the tricks, treats, and family fun you can handle. Think Halloween coloring pages, a zombie freeze dance, and even a scavenger hunt for the little ghouls and goblins. 
But when the clock strikes 8, the night belongs to the grown-ups. Sip on spooky punch, laugh (or scream) through Halloween movie trivia, and keep the party going well past dark. 🕸️
One night only. Costumes encouraged. Fun guaranteed.

Halloween Costume Swap is Here

Why buy a new costume when you can swap for one that’s new-to-you?
The Community Center’s Annual Halloween Costume Swap kicks off October 1st! Bring your gently used costumes—kids, adults, even pets—and trade them in for something fresh and spooky. 
Drop-off: Community Center
Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
October 1st–27th
Save money, keep costumes out of landfills, and give your Halloween look a second life. Who knows… your old witch hat might be someone else’s dream costume this year. 

Haunted Halloween Glow Golf

Get ready for a haunted twist on the game you know and love!
The Alpine Golf Course is hosting a Haunted Halloween Glow Golf Scramble on October 25th, 2025 at 5:30 PM. This 2-person, Par 3, 9-hole scramble will light up the night with glow sticks and glowing golf balls. A costume competition will take place before tee-off, so bring your best Halloween look.

Entry Fee: AGF $55 | Non-AGF $65
Fee includes green fees, glow golf materials, a meal, and door prizes.
(All materials provided except for a team flashlight.)

Costume Bingo

Bingo… but make it spooky! 
On October 17th, the LBV transforms into the ultimate Halloween hangout for Costume Bingo Night! Doors creak open at 5pm, games begin at 6.
 $15 for the first card
$6 for each extra chance to win
And yes, there’s a Grand Prize that’s worth the chills and thrills: an Edelweiss Lodge & Resort getaway

Cupcake Wars Halloween Edition

Get ready for the ultimate showdown in our thrilling Cupcake Wars! Watch as teams of talented volunteers race against the clock, armed with their baking skills and Halloween spirit, to create 24 spooky, stunning cupcakes in just 90 minutes! 

With judges scoring on taste, appearance, creativity, and how well they capture the Halloween vibe, the competition promises excitement and surprises at every turn.

Join us on October 31st from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm at La Dolce Vita DFAC, Bldg. 1412

Costumes are encouraged—so come dressed to impress and double the fun as we celebrate the most deliciously spooky event of the season!
